We’ll meet at 2pm at the northwest corner of Bay Street and Van Ness Avenue, inside Fort Mason. After the tour, we’ll head nearby for some delicious Detroit-style pizza and continue the fun! Step into the holiday spirit with the Rotary Club of San Francisco Evening at The Great Dickens Christmas Fair! Celebrate the Fair’s ruby jubilee 40th anniversary and experience a bustling Victorian London, complete with lively characters, festive shops, and holiday cheer. Victorian attire is optional but highly encouraged to embrace the full experience! RSVP to our club treasurer, Suzanne Taylor, by Friday, November 22, for discounted tickets (regularly $45). Your tickets will be at will call, allowing you to explore at your own pace. We’ll gather for afternoon tea at Cuthbert’s Tea Shoppe (time TBD) to toast Suzanne’s birthday, then head to a nearby lounge for post-fair drinks. Don’t miss this festive celebration! |

Who doesn’t love the traditional Thanksgiving meal? Join the Rotary Clubs of San Francisco Chinatown and San Francisco Evening and first responders from the San Francisco Police and Fire Departments as we partner with Self-Help for the Elderly to celebrate this day of giving thanks for our abundance and enjoy a wonderful holiday meal. The Thanksgiving Luncheon is held every November to provide elders in our community with an afternoon of good food, friends, and fun! The luncheon attracts over 3,000 guests each year, and continues to grow. Families and friends of the seniors also join for this holiday filled event. Guests will be served a delicious Thanksgiving meal with all the traditional fixings. Seniors that are not able to physically attend the luncheon will have their meal delivered to them so that they can still enjoy the event and the Thanksgiving meal. There are also plenty of opportunities to volunteer for the event and serve the seniors and their guests. Inform our Service Chair Georgina Lai if you are interested! |
