Uganda Water Project

Peggy Pollard is Chair of the International Committee of Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary. She has been collaborating with Rotary Club of Kasese, Uganda with water projects since 2013 and led two delegation Safaris to Kasese, Uganda. Peggy has been staff of a nonprofit friendship program,  International Students, Inc. serving UC Santa Cruz campus for 21 years. Her friendship with Ugandans began with a UCSC Agro-Ecology student in 1999. Peggy lives with husband Dr. Bob in Santa Cruz, where they have raised 4 children, three of whom love to surf.

Dr. George Bunch, a retired pediatrician originally from New Mexico has led several Medical Mission trips to Mexico and El Salvador.  Since joining Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary International Committee he joined Peggy on the Rotary Safari to Kasese, Uganda in April, 2019.
