Last week's speaker program was Humanity's Last Stand with Nan Su. He spoke about the practice of harvesting organs from prisoners in China. Horrifying and fascinating. He's obviously making a difference, because China, his home country, has put him on a black list and he can't return there! That's bananas.

On March 1 our meeting will be jam packed! I'll have our normal assembly announcements and activities, and we'll be hearing from Nancy Hughes from Stove Team International. It should be fun and informative.
On Sunday March 12 we will be partnering with Next Village SF. I think we've been doing this for 4+ years and this would be our 8th or 9th event with them. There are always some laughs, a story or two, and sometimes a cup of tea!
I'm also looking forward to our District's Learning and Development Assembly. There are break out sessions to learn more about the functions of a Rotary club, as well as an opportunity for a service project. And of course, lunch! This is the time to look ahead to the next Rotary year and celebrate our club with the whole district.
