Gearing up for next year!

President-Elect Suzanne has graduated from PETS, so we're off to the races to get ready for July! Springtime is full of district-level training seminars, we're starting a membership drive, and still pushing towards our big international trip. Let's catch up!

First, as you probably have heard by now, the H2OpenDoors Cuba expedition was canceled because of government turmoil (on the Cuba side, to be clear). Krissie, our International Service Director, is quickly pivoting us to our next best option. Please fill out her survey HERE to let us know where you want to go! Details for some of the trips are outlined on the H2OpenDoors website.

There are a limited number of meetings left in this Rotary year, so limited opportunities for guest speakers – but we still want to hear from you! If you've got an idea for a great program, please email speakers@sfeveningrotary.org and we'll take care of the rest.

Two special events are coming up that I'd like to put on your radar:

• The Rotary Club of San Francisco - Castro has chartered! Their charter event is on Sunday March 25! Buy tickets soon, before they sell out. We served as the sponsoring club, so we're basically family; it would be amazing to see solid representation from SF Evening at their event.

• Our sponsor/parent club, on the other hand, is turning TEN! The Rotary Club of SF Chinatown is having their Diamond Gala celebration next month, on April 27. You can purchase tickets here if you'd like to join!

Finally, planning for our own White Party is well underway! Save the date for Thursday, June 14, and we will be sending out details soon. We will be having a silent auction again this year, so if you have something you'd like to donate or know someone who might, please let us know! Alan and Cathy are wrangling the list and sending out solicitations.
