We've officially reached the halfway point of this Rotary year! I was happy to take a few weeks' break over the holidays, but ideas have been brimming on how to continue to power up the club, and I'm excited to go into execution mode and get some stuff done!
A special shout-out is deserved for PE Suzanne and the rest of the social committee for putting together a most excellent holiday party for us! With our Member Services Silent Auction, we raised over $1200 for our upcoming international project with H2OpenDoors! We also got to watch as DG Ron inducted our second new member of the year, Randy Uang, and filled a bin with holiday goodies for Toys 4 Tots.
January also marks the point in the year where attention will be going to helping set up next year's leadership team for success. Keep an eye on the calendar and on the District 5150 website for information about upcoming trainings.
