As I sit here in my AirBnb flat in Montpellier, the day after Thanksgiving, I am reflecting on the first half of my presidency and things I am thankful for. I am missing the club while on a work trip, but very thankful that my career is enabling me to travel the world and spend this holiday with my sister and brother-in-law! As I'm fond of saying, "everything is crazy all of the time". I couldn't have predicted the amount of tireless work it takes to serve as Club President, but I also wouldn't trade this time for anything. I continue to learn so much from this opportunity, from the people I get to meet and interact with near and far. The next seven months are going to be even better!
Our next meeting, led by PE Suzanne, will be the first week of December - and our last official meeting of the year! I will be back in time for our holiday party, with the theme of Martinis & Mistletoe, and look forward to seeing you all there. Tickets are on sale now!
