Global Grant project in Lhuwahahwa, Kasese, Uganda

Peggy Pollard is co-chair of Global Grant project for Water & Sanitation and Economic Development sponsored by Rotary Clubs of Santa Cruz Sunrise and Kasese Uganda,  in Lhuhwahwa Village, Kasese, Uganda.  On July 11 Kasese Rotary and Lhuhwahwa village LUPODA leadership celebrated the 10 years of successful Rotary WASH projects in the village with 300 guests. Peggy is host of monthly “REAP” Rotary East Africa Project zoom group.

Peggy is staff of UC Santa Cruz chapter of  International Students Inc. international nonprofit social program for university internationals. She has taught ballroom social dance in Santa Cruz area and is currently an MFA graduate student in Creative Writing at San Jose State University.
