REACH Shirati
REACH Shirati is dedicated to providing rural Tanzanians access to quality education, improved health care, and sustainable community development programs in the Shirati-Nyamagongo region. This year, REACH Shirati launched the Gender Respect Project for fifth graders at Tina's Primary School, a school REACH started ten years ago and now serves more than 600 students. The Gender Respect Project is a culturally relevant education program focused on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and gender based violence (GBV) based around mutual respect that is at once empowering for girls and transformative for boys.
