Community Service: Butterfly Habitat Restoration

Friends of Strawberry Hill - Butterfly Habitat Restoration Project

Saturday, Oct 14, 2023, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM PDT

We will be joining Friends of Strawberry Hill to participate in their twice-monthly habitat restoration. They remove invasive weeds, and put in plant species that Swallowtails and other butterflies need to thrive.

All instruction and needed tools will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Dress in layeres, and bring a bottle of water. If you're sensitive to sun, don't forget your sunscreen and hat!

We will meet at the Stow Lake Boat House.

Members and prospective members are invited to join us afterward for an ice cream social! RSVP to Club President Karen Irwin for details.
