Who doesn’t love the traditional Thanksgiving meal? Join the Rotary Clubs of San Francisco Chinatown and San Francisco Evening and first responders from the San Francisco Police and Fire Departments as we partner with Self-Help for the Elderly to celebrate this day of giving thanks for our abundance and enjoy a wonderful holiday meal.
The Thanksgiving Luncheon is held every November to provide elders in our community with an afternoon of good food, friends, and fun! The luncheon attracts over 3,000 guests each year, and continues to grow. Families and friends of the seniors also join for this holiday filled event.
Guests will be served a delicious Thanksgiving meal with all the traditional fixings. Seniors that are not able to physically attend the luncheon will have their meal delivered to them so that they can still enjoy the event and the Thanksgiving meal.
There are also plenty of opportunities to volunteer for the event and serve the seniors and their guests. Inform our Service Chair Georgina Lai if you are interested!
